Happy Wednesday! If you were ever gonna have a pumpkin beer this year, today and tomorrow are the time to crack open that Pumking or Ichabod. Go for it.
The New Illinois Beer Label of the Week:
It’s been a minute since I’ve seen labels submitted by Liquid Love Brewing and from Tonality Brewing.
I appreciate that Liquid Love gives credit to the label artist, and I also like how what appears to be a straight Sour Patch Kids-inspired label actually carries the stabby little silhouettes into the different colored layers and makes it part of the texture. Nice!
And since I showed Premium Subscribers a cool and unexpected barleywine from a Chicago brewery last week, I thought I’d pass along this “artfully constructed” barleywine as well. Is that a Phish reference, Tonality?
Up next for our Premium Subscribers:
A label from an IL brand giving expansion hints …
Two new Heritage-style lagers in Light and Extra Light form…
A Missouri brewery using an ingredient I’ve never seen before, plus…
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuudge.
And more!
