Happy Wednesday! Even though we’re starting off with an interesting new barrel-aged beer that extends an amazing line of stouts even further, there are no less than three American pilsner labels that cleared the TTB this week, and they’re all included for our Premium Subscribers. Trend alert!

I also rustled up a few new amber/red ale labels too, in case you really want an email with a “turn-of-the-millennium brewpub” feel to it. We’ve also got:

  • A major deviation in style for one of Michigan’s biggest hazy brewers

  • A GDB First Look at Monster Brewing’s new line of hard teas

  • A GDB First Look at another new hard tea — that’s 10% ABV

  • An interesting-looking experiment in barrel-aged spirits from a brewery, and…

  • What could be the smokiest smoked beer to ever smoke smoke.

That’s a pretty wide gamut of beverages coming out of breweries soon … some of them are even beer! If you aren’t yet a Premium Subscriber and want to see what the heck we’re talking about, you’ll just have to join our exclusive club of super-knowledgeable beer fans:

I also have two little nuggets of Chicago-centric beer info from two of the city’s biggest brewers waiting behind the cut. But first…

The New Illinois Beer Label Of The Week:
