The New Illinois Beer Label of the Week:
I think it’s kind of interesting that Chicago’s brewery landscape is so vast that we have not one but two vehicle-themed breweries. Double Clutch is the newer one in town, but 93 Octane (located in a literal gas station and convenience store!) has been at it since 2019.
Mystery Machine is their ongoing series of kettle sours but I don’t see a package label for any of those variants yet other than this; I’d hope this pairs well with Scooby Snacks. I also hope I’m one of the meddling kids to which this label refers.
