On Monday we shared a news story with you about New Holland partnering with Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast to come up with a beer and whiskey celebrating the 50th anniversary of Dungeons and Dragons.

IDK if it’s common knowledge or not that D&D was invented in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin - as a kid I would go to family bible camp up there and spend most of my time play role playing games like the heathen I was - but we’ve got some beer labels this week that bring us some D&D vibes a little closer to its original birth place.

Like this one, for example:

The New Illinois Beer Label of the Week:

I never really played with figurines - just graph paper and imagination for me! - but this Dryhop label has me gearing up to grab my D20 and check out a drop-in game night somewhere nearby.

Somewhat related: Anyone else remember Finch Beer’s Hardcore Chimera double IPA? Gotta be one or two of you out there that do.

Up next for our Premium Subscribers: More D&D vibes, blatant IP theft, a new WeeTopia, unlimited breadsticks and a beer label that took a lot of Googling to understand. (Not sure I 100% get it yet. Comment if you think I got it right.)
