Happy Wednesday! While much of the Midwest swelters, I’ve sweatily uncovered a bunch more fun labels from around the Great Lakes States and beyond this week. Nine of them, in fact!
As ever, free subscribers get to see the cool new Illinois-based beer label I turned up, while paid subscribers get to see:
A potential return to form for an old favorite from Goose,
A new beer from a brand revolving around a booze-friendly 80s rocker,
A Miggy pale,
A Microdose blonde,
A Midwest IPA,
And a Monster Truck beer.
You’ll also get to find out which brewery asked: Has satanism gone too far?
But first…
The New Illinois Beer Label Of The Week:
On Monday we had a story about a sunflower-seed pilsner from Lake Louie brewed with proceeds going to charitable efforts in Ukraine. Happy to see Midwest Coast keeping things going on the humanitarian front as well with the potential return of their collab with Kyiv’s Varvar Brew.
Midwest Coast first released this in May 2022 and co-owner Susie Compton is from Ukraine so I’m guessing we might see another fundraiser or two around this release. Or just give some money to one of these charities now!
