I am in the midst of wrapping up a feature for a local weekly up here about humane societies and animal rescue organizations and our cat Beatrix hasn’t stopped bouncing us awake at 5am for the past couple of weeks so it’s with mixed emotions that I name this …
The New Illinois Beer Label of the Week:
Every new Saint Errant label feels like a bit of a victory. I feel like they came out of the box real fast with a lot of excitement around them and I was always stoked to see a new one on tap at The Green Lady (which happened pretty regularly, for a while). Then seemed like finding their beers has been tough for a while. This is their third label to emerge this year, and I’m hoping to see even more.
Up next for our Premium Subscribers: A look at downtown Fort Dodge, Iowa; finding the USS Cleveland; and threats to light country music awards on fire.
(I am fairly certain that that is a list of words that have never appeared in that order ever before on Earth.)
Premium Subscribers get access to all these labels plus exclusive posts, social updates on Friday, access to our back catalog and our gratitude for helping to keep these emails coming out.
