First, a bit of news that broke after we sent Monday’s email out: In case you missed it, AB-Inbev sold eight of its craft beer brands to Tilray, a Canadian cannabis company including Breckenridge, Blue Point, 10 Barrel and Redhook.
Perhaps the most surprising brand to be sold off? Shock Top, AB’s own creation that they came up with to compete with Blue Moon. Yes, technically Shock Top is craft beer now. This year is weird.
