Here at GuysDrinkingBeer, we pride ourselves on not just bringing you beer information, but random (and often useless!) knowledge riding on the coattails of that beer information. And we’ve outdone ourselves this week, if I do say so myself.
This week, Premium Subscribers will learn:
How to say “dragon” in Old Norse
When rifle hunting season starts in Wisconsin
What a particular Leviticus verse on a new beer label refers to
What a Dudesyvening is (or at least what I think it is)
Sure, you could Google all this stuff yourself, but why bother! Just sign up as a Premium Subscriber and you’ll also get to see a bunch of new beer labels too!
And now …
The New Illinois Beer Label Of The Week:
I don’t remember exactly which beer of Lil Beaver’s I first had at FoBAB a few years ago — I think it was their “Whole Lotta Wonderful,” aka their liquid Mounds bar — but I remember it definitely blew my hair back. LBB does these super-decadent “candy bar beers” better than most, so a peanut-focused beer that has some barrel age on it definitely piques my curiosity.
I know I’ve said this like a dozen times over the last month or so, but … for perhaps the last time for a while … I really hope to see this at FoBAB this weekend!
