Happy Wednesday, my beer-label-loving friends. We start with a little bit of a jump start on the social media news updates this week…
The New Illinois Beer Label of the Week:
Old Irving Brewing sent through a number of new labels this week (I liked this one the best; nice and tranquil). All of these submissions had their Montrose address listed on them, which got me thinking … “wasn’t OIB supposed to be taking over the old Finch Brewing production space? I wonder what’s up with that?”
And no sooner do I open up my Instagram, but I see this:
A full update from OIB that they’re up and running at the new space! And it sounds like they needed to make a number of updates from what Finch was using in there (which I guess is not a huge surprise). Anyways, here’s hoping we start seeing a lot more Beezer and other OIB beers in coolers and on store shelves soon.
Up next for our Premium Subscribers: Since it’s just us here right now, I’ll also give you another little bit of late-breaking details. Looks like Foreign Exchange brewing is just about ready to open their taproom in a few days:
Nice to have a little good news before launching into Illinois Craft Beer Week. On with our labels!
