It probably won’t surprise you to find that most every brewery posted some sort of event or social post about college basketball this week, so I will spare you from all of the bracket-referencing updates that I saw.
I would, however, note that tickets are now on sale for this year’s Beer Under Glass at the Harris Theater Rooftop Terrace. If this year’s casual sports gambling wins you a few bucks, general admission is $55 to try beers from 80+ beveragemakers.
For some reason, in my head I’m convinced that it’s already April, so let’s speed along into today’s events and socials as well:

Today is Orval Day, and Goldfinger is hosting a special gathering for fans of Afterthought Brewing - brewer Mike is bringing by the beer he brewed for this year’s Orval Day and they’ll also have actual Orval pouring as well.
If you want to try to win this giant Orval glass, you’re going to have to go drink Orval at The Hopleaf today. Poor you.
Go shave your head at Wolfden Brewing this afternoon and help support the St. Baldricks foundation.
If you’re feeling like some interesting wine, middle brow is hosting a free “new weird America” tasting this afternoon.
LAGERLAND comes to City Built in Grand Rapids from noon - 10pm.
Sunday, March 23:
Head to Sturdy Shelter in Batavia for their first Book Fair & Brews event where you can meet and talk books with local authors. Cool!
Illuminated Beer Works hosts a screening of Magick Show, “a multi-part series diving deep into the history - and the Future! - of the Occult” with a discussion immediately following.
Turner Haus Brewery brings back their Adult Spelling Bee starting at 2pm. Can you beat their reigning 2x champ?

Off Color’s Mousetrap had to close for a couple days this week due to plumbing issues that were out of their control, so maybe stop by and go grab an extra pint.

Saugatuck Brewing Company announced that proceeds from their Lake Street Light lager will help support lake sturgeon conservation.
If you’ve been missing the tacos from the former Ravinia Brewing, the new Diversey House now has Taco-Ver Tuesday to help with that.
