This Week's Beer Events & A Final Push for a Brewery Kickstarter
Powered by your potential support
Brewery kickstarters used to be a not-infrequent ask a few years ago, and I was feeling like I hadn’t seen one for a while now … until Black Lung Brewing began asking for help in taking over the former Light the Lamp space:
Tomorrow is the last day of the campaign, and they’re at just about half of their goal, so take a look and see if this is something you’d be interested in supporting.
Otherwise, this is the kind of weekend where the threat of triple-digit temps probably gets us all thinking about beers that are light, cold and refreshing. Which leads me to a question: What’s your favorite macro lager?
I am well past my extended Miller High Life phase - it now feels too sweet and weirdly, kind of oily to me these days. If pressed to choose, I’d probably have to defer back to my old standby of Busch Light, mostly because there’s almost nothing to it.
Argue it out in the comments or shoot us a thoughtful and well-reasoned email, please and thank you. Have a great weekend.
Reminder: Only Premium Subscribers get to see behind the paywall for the rest of these newsworthy social media updates! They’re also the only ones being sent Wednesday label updates via email. Lite Subscribers can click here to see what’s going on with Saints and Kittens.
